Message the primary problem for autocrossers is understeer (car plows when attempting to turn).
to circumvent this, you can dial in a lot of camber, but this isn't always best.
i've also found it VERY helpful to remove strut tower bars. (proven).
and finally, by going with a stiff rear anti-roll bar, and a soft (or NO) front anti-roll bar, you can induce oversteer.
also, changing caster can be used to fine tune turn in once grip is found.

by combining various combinations of these modifications, you can create a very stable and capable autocross vehicle.
