the primary problem for autocrossers is understeer (car plows when attempting to turn). to circumvent this, you can dial in a lot of camber, but this isn't always best. i've also found it VERY helpful to remove strut tower bars. (proven). and finally, by going with a stiff rear anti-roll bar, and a soft (or NO) front anti-roll bar, you can induce oversteer. also, changing caster can be used to fine tune turn in once grip is found.by combining various combinations of these modifications, you can create a very stable and capable autocross vehicle. any more would be beyond the scope of this original thread (fag racing).
